Chase von Castell is a beautiful 2-3 year old Malinois mix. He is a sweet boy, from a rural area, a bit on the shy side at our busy kennel but coming out of his shell. His personality really shines in a home. He was fostered for a time by people who describe him as an "incredible dog" who is very sweet and smart. He is housebroken, crate-trained and knows commands including sit, stay, down, and leave it. Chase also walks well on a leash and seems more comfortable walking in a pack with other dogs. He has settled into life at the rescue and enjoys leaning on you for pets and treats. He likes to play ball and will even drop the ball at your feet, ready for another round of fetch. He enjoys roaming around in the play yard and chooses to hang out with other mild dogs like himself. (He just needs some lessons in doggie manners when it comes to guarding water from a hose.)
